Reem Fawzy: Pink Taxi

Reem graduated from 10,000 Women in 2011 and it was after this that she became highly passionate about giving back to her community and women empowerment. This led to the launch of Pink Taxi, a business aimed at empowering women by providing training and employment through a basic life skill, driving.

As well as developing her own business as an entrepreneur, Reem was motivated by her passion to create a safe and harassment-free environment for women commuting in Egypt by themselves or with their children.

With over 1,000 employees and established since 2015, Reem is still looking to expand her business through further marketing efforts and is now looking at ways to expand her business internationally.
